“ Wonderful country pub. Was quiet when we visited. Service was very good - pleasant staff, recommending drinks. Wide range of drinks to choose from. Cask Ales and Ciders were very reasonably priced. Food was very tasty and they did not scrimp on the portion sizes - steak baguettes are highly recommended with them using a very good cut of beef. All in all a very lovely visit and would recommend to all. ”
“ On the hunt for the best Sunday dinner in the area, not top, but it was good! Lots of flavour! Trio of meats was delicious, only let down was the sultanas in the red cabbage but that's a personal thing! Waitress and waitors were very accommodating, lots of selections of drinks and desert was fab ”

Fantastic menu too, we both enjoyed the goat's cheese starter, I had the butternut squash filo pie for my main course, it came with a cep jus & the whole thing was hot, tasty & gorgeous. My other half had gammon steak with, what he tells me, were the best chips ever! All in all we had a delightful meal with great service. 5 stars from me! ”
